Please note we currently don't have any donkeys available for purchase. Fraudulent entities are misusing our stud name and address. We use an Expression of Interest process for potential buyers to be considered for our foals which includes meeting with us and our donkeys prior to sale.
About Pine Ridge Miniature Donkeys
Managed by Arthur & Karin, Pine Ridge is a 25 acre boutique farm nestled in the beautiful NSW Southern Highlands. At Pine Ridge we breed show winning American Miniature Mediterranean Donkeys. We have a menagerie of animals that we love dearly: donkeys, alpacas, sheep, goats and chickens.
How our love for donkeys started: In April 2020 we welcomed our first two donkeys to our farm and we have since totally fallen in love with donkeys and are now breeding American Miniature Mediterranean Donkeys on a small scale.
Our goal is to produce a donkey with top conformation, temperament and colour.
Every one of our donkeys are our pets that we love and cherish. They are handled, brushed and cared for on a daily basis and they are registered with DABSA (Donkey All Breeds Society Australia).
We love sharing our little slice of paradise and our lovely animals, for that reason we host farm stays and offer tours and visits. We can offer unique experiences for you to meet and interact with our animals such as farm tours, feeding of our animals or brushing and spending time with the donkeys. We are happy to customise the experience to suit your needs. We are also happy to host your special celebrations and host groups of people, we have hosted many groups of varying ages and abilities that have enjoyed our farm and animals.

The Miniature Mediterranean Donkey originates from Sicily and Sardinia and is almost extinct in the wild in their native land. In the 18th century they were primarily used indoors for turning grindstones for grain and as pack animals for mountain shepherds. When fully grown they stand at between 30 (~ 76 cm) and 36 (~ 91 cm) inches tall.
